i think this may take dev time when analytics tools are far more powerful than internal tools. Plus if you add analytics tools this will bring more headache with the compliance (GDPR) as you will have to create a functionality to also disable them and make sure they don't load until the user consents (i normally implement solutions like this via google tag manager and third party tools like one trust).
